Does any one enjoy homework? Any input?

In my world, homework is frustrating and dull. Whereas most people in my grade go to school to learn, I find it inhibits my growth because I procrastinate on the majority of tasks which do not interest me. People say that I am intelligent, and would have enormous potential if I worked harder but I can't get myself motivated. I read a lot of advanced non-fiction, and elaborate wordy novels, and it introduces me to a world of learning which is captivating. When it comes to school though, we are then undermined to answer questions beginning with the like: 'a snail crawled 10 meters....' How can I learn to enjoy homework? An impossible task? Because pion and incentive are about the only things that get me motivated. Please no 'get over its' because I know how important grades are.. I'm just easily distracted by more stimulating things.
