Slippery and sly work colleague - how to deal with her ?

Believe me, there are people like her in every workplace in the land & there are ways & means of dealing with them without speaking to the boss & getting yourself a reputation as a telltale. If you can`t devise a way to stall her then your best ploy would be pive resistance until you think of something that will shut her up.
