What can i do to fix the "white screen" problem for my SCH-R451C samsung phone?

Ive had my samsung for alittle over a month. i had dropped my phone and the battery fell out. and now all that it shows is a white screen. however, i can still make calls and texts, i just cant see what im typing or doing. ive tried taking the battery out and turning my phone off and back on but it still did not work. any ideas for this problem?
