As i sweep... upon cold water!!?

The vivid details give such a sense of clarity to an otherwise somewhat arcane poem. I get the sense that the protagonist is sinking into the unconscious, into the source of life as represented by the water, with layer upon layer of meaning and increasing understanding, the pearls of wisdom, so to speak. I may be way off base, but I certainly enjoyed the poem very very much. It is unique, imaginative and well written.
