Normal to get pive-aggressive with roommate?

Being pive-aggressive is just going to make her mad at you, and isn't going to accomplish anything. If you are going to have a roommate, you need to be able to talk about things. In your conversation, state very clearly the things you would like her to do - for example, don't say "You're so messy!!!" Say "I think it would be fair for you to wash dishes twice per week." Ask her to be quiet when she comes in at night; however, it isn't your place to judge her for the fact that she goes out and/or drinks. It is reasonable to ask that she not be so loud as to wake you up.
