Abu Dhabi food and transportation cost.?

Hi Guys, i've got a job offered to me in Abu Dhabi for Dhs 18000, a more specific question is if i were to allocate Dhs 2500 per month for food and transportation will it be enough? For food i don't dine out at night (prefer to cook) for the weekdays except weekends and will only eat out during breakfast and/or lunchtime. I'm not a fussy eater, could go for sandwich for morning and rice/noodles meal for lunch. As for transport. My workplace are located around the region of Abu Dhabi Mall, what is the normal working hour (morning and after work) cab fare around this area. Thanks.
